I suddenly realized what I was doing and became really self concious but the I was just like cuss it and kept rocking out to my stereotypical miata driver moment.
I was late to see kraftwerk in this really dark underground club but needed to get my pony tail styled.

Man Depeche Mode, what a great band. I've been really riding in an 80's mood lately. Also all the Miata talk makes me want to get one, but the wife says "you can buy anything you want, but I don't think its a good idea". What a way to say no haha.

To add to the stereotypical Miata moments, I had some kid yell "gay" at while I was going through an intersection. I can never wrap my head around the mentality of yelling an insult at someone while they A.) are unlikely to hear and B.) while they are going a different direction. Eh, not my problem.

Yesterday, I had to stop for a couple of annoying kids on scooters, who were blocking the road near my house. Their response? 'Learn to drive!'. Honestly, I was more surprised than annoyed... At least, at first.
After a while, some measure of irritation did simmer to the surface, largely because I used to play on that exact same street - I still live with my parents, and my family never moved around - and back then, not even the brattiest of kids would just sit there blocking a car, much less hurl insults at the driver. And it's not like it's been that long! I'm only 19.

My wife said the same thing. Now she enjoys riding along the coast of Lake Michigan in my '96 Miata M Edition after getting some killer Thai food.
